These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a contract between you and Beat Predictors ("we", "us") governing your use of the Beat Predictors website and web application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Beat Predictors is a free-to-play, skill-based prediction games platform. You predict the results or scorelines of real sports fixtures, earn points based on accuracy, and compete on leaderboards and in leagues.

Beat Predictors is not gambling. There are no stakes, no odds, no wagering, and no cash prizes. Nothing on the Service is betting or gambling advice, and subscription fees are payment for premium features — not stakes of any kind.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or older where your country requires it), and at least 18 — or have parental consent — to purchase a paid subscription.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You may hold one account only. Duplicate accounts distort leaderboards and may be removed.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

The Service offers several game modes (currently No‑Folds, Last One Standing, Scoreliner, and the combined ROP Index). The rules and scoring of each mode are described in the app and form part of these Terms.

• Predictions lock at kick-off of the relevant fixture and cannot be changed afterwards.
• Scoring is based on official results data from our sports data providers. Postponed or abandoned fixtures are handled per the in-app rules of each mode.
• We may correct scoring errors (for example, after an official result correction). Once a gameweek is settled and any corrections applied, results are final.
• We may refine rules and scoring between seasons or add new game modes; material changes take effect for future gameweeks, not retroactively.

You can compete on global leaderboards and create or join private and public leagues, subject to the limits of your plan.

• League creators and admins choose the league name, game mode, duration, and settings, and may manage membership.
• League names and content must not be offensive, misleading, or infringe anyone's rights. We may rename or remove leagues that break this rule.
• Invite codes and links are for the intended participants; do not resell or publicly broker access to private leagues.

The core Service is free. Pro and Elite are paid annual subscriptions that unlock additional features (such as more leagues, performance insights, leaderboard filters, and data export), as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed annually in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices include VAT where applicable.
• Price lock. Your renewal price stays at the rate you signed up at for as long as your subscription remains continuously active — even if list prices increase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each year. You can cancel any time in your account settings; you keep premium features until the end of the paid period, and no further payments are taken.
• Downgrades.If you downgrade or cancel, leagues above your new plan's limits may become read-only rather than deleted.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

Because premium features are available to you immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that if you use them during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the period of service already provided and refund the rest. To withdraw, email support@beatpredictors.com from your account email address within the 14-day period.

Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under local consumer law.

You must not:

• create multiple accounts or use bots or automation to submit predictions;
• collude to manipulate leaderboards, streaks, or league outcomes;
• scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its data without permission;
• attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems;
• harass other players or post offensive content in usernames, league names, or any other user content;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including any form of gambling.

We may remove content, void affected scores, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules (see section 11).

You keep any rights in the content you submit (such as usernames and league names) and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it as needed to run the Service — for example, showing your username on leaderboards.

The Service itself — including software, design, branding, game formats, and aggregated statistics — belongs to us or our licensors. Fixtures, results, and other sports data are provided by third-party licensors and may not be extracted or reused beyond normal use of the Service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Premier League or any club, league, or governing body.

We work hard to keep the Service available, especially around kick-off times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where changes materially reduce what you have paid for — in that case you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part of your subscription.

You can close your account at any time in your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms (including fair-play rules), if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

If we terminate without cause, or you terminate for our material breach, we will refund the unused part of any paid subscription pro-rata. We will not refund where termination results from your material breach, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that: the Service is provided for entertainment; we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you accepted these Terms, losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, or business losses. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (or £50 if you use only the free plan).

Sports data may occasionally contain errors from upstream providers; our sole obligation is to correct scoring as described in section 4.

We may update these Terms — for example, when we launch new game modes, leagues, or sports. For material changes we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app. If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any unused subscription period. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer residing in the EU or UK, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
